We arrived safe and sound yesterday. It was definitely a whirlwind of a day. Patient housing is situated right by Fenway park. Which means we have lots of food options to try out 😉

Katja picked Woodfire pizza for dinner and some delicious noodles for this evening. We did some grocery shopping and found a Target for a few essentials.

It’s been an exhausting few days and tomorrow won’t be any easier. Tomorrow’s Schedule:

8:30am- Hospital Tour

9am- Pre-Op

11am- CT Scan

12:30- Lunch

1pm- EKG and X-ray

1:30pm- Surgery Consult

1:45pm- Labs

2:30pm- Echo

As you can see it’s a whole day thing preparing for surgery Wednesday morning. Hopefully all goes well tomorrow and Katja doesn’t have a meltdown. Fingers🤞

In the meantime, Katja found the community space and played some Uno with Dad.
